Why I wish I didn't have a backbone. Part I

Don't get me wrong I enjoy being a human, but all and all the human species is pretty boring.  Sure we have a highly developed brain that allows us to communicate, show emotion, and reason, but that is were the awesome traits end.   We don't have any of the bad assery that the rest of the animal kingdom has, the majority of this bad assery coming from the invertebrates.  And to be quite honest I am very jealous.  There are multiple examples of traits that I want from various invertebrate phyla, but first and foremost being chromatophores.  Chromatophores are pigments in the cells of cephalopods (that's squids, octopuses, and cuttlefish).   These pigments allow these animals to not only change the color of their skin, but also the shape and texture of it.  Greatest super power ever.  Also cephalopods have one of the highest learning curves of all animals.  This is just one of the many examples of why I would like to be an invertebrate
