Hold on to your butts

This is my first blog.  Some might say that the creation of this blog has been a long time coming.  I would like to think that I created this on a whim as a way to procrastinate instead of studying for finals.  However, truth be told, this has been a long time in the making even if I just created it today.  I don't know what to expect in writing this blog, so I don't think anyone reading this should know what to expect either.  The title of this post, taken from the movie Jurassic Park,  sums up my feelings on this endeavor.  Because, to be quite honest, that is all I can do.  I will be doing this on a fairly regular basis (multiple times a week).  Now, however, I must return to studying for the finals.
